CuNi 70/30 20μm-63μm

CuNi 70/30 copper alloy offers a unique combination of corrosion resistance, thermal stability, electrical conductivity, mechanical strength, and antimicrobial properties, making it a versatile material for advanced manufacturing across various industries. One of the primary reasons CuNi 70/30 is used is its exceptional resistance to corrosion in seawater, brackish water, and various chemical environments. CuNi 70/30 also offers good mechanical strength, allowing it to withstand mechanical stresses and pressures in piping systems, fittings, and valves.

The 20-63 µm particle size suggests good spreadability for recoating systems with recoat speeds up to 260 mm/s. Other tailored particle size distributions are available upon request.

MPW metal powder is manufactured utilizing our DirectPowder™ process. The mechanical only, high-yield, no-melt technology maintains the microstructure and temper of the bar stock material, yielding a consistent size and shape and narrow particle size distribution.
